AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT®: certification of online transactions
AFAQ can now provide AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT®, a third-party certification designed for companies that have developed an electronic commerce site and who want to have the value of their services recognized.
Sales of goods and services on Internet is expanding rapidly but electronic transactions are hampered by lack of information or insecurity of on-line payments. The AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT® reference text sets out commitments and organizational measures that future certified sites will have to comply with in order to provide customer satisfaction.
This reference standard applies to commercial sites that provide on-line purchase and payment facilities for goods and services. Certification focuses on:
- identification of commercial sites,
- dependability of transactions,
- informing and protecting the customer,
- security of transactions,
- the quality of the service provided.
