1st certification according to AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT®
The official recognition of the reliability of FIMATEX services.
Following an audit of all its services, FIMATEX was awarded AFAQ certification under AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT® reference text, validated by Internet professionals and consumer associations.
AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT® certification is designed for companies that have developed a commercial Internet site. It is awarded by AFAQ, a world leader in certification (ISO 9000, ISO 14000, service certification, etc.).
AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT® focuses primarily on the dependability and security of transactions, customer information and protection and the quality of the service provided.
Olivier PEYRAT, Managing Director of AFAQ, observes that "electronic transactions are still held back by Internet users' reservations concerning the reliability of information published on the Net or the security of payments and other on-line transactions. AFAQ Reliable Service WEBCERT® is designed to counter these new uncertainties and contributes to the rapid
expansion of e-commerce transactions on Internet".
FIMATEX, which considers service quality to be an essential line of development, has willingly become involved in this certification initiative and is the first Internet site certified after a process of:
> on-line audit focusing particularly on on-line stock dealing and checking that all the necessary information is present on the www. fimatex.fr site,
> auditing the various FIMATEX services in France (commercial, customer support, IT, back-office) by an expert organization in company quality, appointed by AFAQ.
The awarding of this certification to FIMATEX shows:
> recognition of FIMATEX's sound structure, despite its rapid growth,
> priority given to its customers, for example by providing a team of advisers available from 08.00 to 22.00 to reply to questions,
> the concern to maintain its know-how and make it permanently available by setting up a structuring organization.
